What is a good content quality score?
80 or above is excellent, 65-79 is good with some fixes, and below 45 needs real work. Treat the score as a checklist: the suggestions matter more than the number.
What are AEO and GEO?
AEO (answer engine optimisation) makes content easy to use for featured snippets and voice answers. GEO (generative engine optimisation) makes it more likely to be cited by AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.
How long should my content be?
As long as the topic needs. Guides that rank usually run 800-2,000 words, but a short, direct answer beats a long, padded one. The checker flags content under 300 words as thin.
What Flesch score should web content have?
Aim for 60 or higher, which is plain English that most adults read easily. Technical topics can go a little lower if the audience expects it.
Is my content stored?
No. Pasted text is analysed in your browser and never saved. URLs are fetched once to read the page and are not stored.
