How do I check if a page is indexed by Google?
Search Google for site: followed by the URL, or use URL Inspection in Google Search Console, which is the most accurate. This tool first confirms that nothing on your site blocks indexing, then gives you one-click buttons for both.
Why is my page not indexed?
The most common causes are a noindex tag, a robots.txt block, a canonical pointing elsewhere, a redirect or error status, thin or duplicate content, or a new page Google has not discovered yet. The checker tests each one.
How long does Google take to index a new page?
Anywhere from a few hours to several weeks. Adding the page to your sitemap, linking to it from strong pages and requesting indexing in Search Console all speed it up.
What does "Crawled - currently not indexed" mean?
Google visited the page but chose not to index it, usually because it judged the content thin, duplicate or low value. Improve the content and internal links, then request indexing again.
Does this tool scrape Google?
No. Automated Google searches break Google’s terms. We check indexability directly on your site and link you to Google so you can confirm it yourself.
