Why do broken links matter for SEO?
They waste crawl budget, stop link equity flowing and frustrate visitors. Many broken links are also a sign of a poorly maintained site.
What does "couldn't verify" mean?
Some sites (LinkedIn, Facebook and others) block automated checks, so we cannot confirm their status. Open those links yourself to make sure they work.
Does it check the whole website?
It checks every link on the page you enter (up to 150). Run it on your most important pages, such as the home page, service pages and top blog posts.
What should I do with a broken internal link?
Update it to the correct live page. If the page moved, also add a 301 redirect from the old URL.
